Jan Grandprey CPO®
Jan Grandprey opened her organizing business in 1998 after numerous years of related work experience. Jan's professional experience includes working as a paralegal, managing a department for a large corporation, and teaching post-secondary business education courses. In 2007, she earned the prestigious designation of Certified Professional Organizer. Jan was among the first 200 in the industry to earn this designation in its inaugural year.
All of Jan's prior work experience has prepared her to better service clients in the following areas:
Estate Administration: Most people do not realize the huge responsibility of being appointed the successor trustee of the estate. It can be very stressful, time consuming, and is a very detail-oriented job. Some trustees have no experience dealing with these types of matters. A professional organizer can be especially important if the trustee does not live close to the decedent's residence. Jan has worked as the project manager for estates where the trustee lives out of state.
Home Offices/Paper Management: Jan will create a customized home office that will help you be more productive and effective in your work. There is no one system or product that works for everyone. Jan will create systems that work specifically for your needs. When organizing a home office, dealing with piles of papers is one of her strengths. Also, we can discuss some time management tips to help you in your new home office.
Residential Organization: Jan also organizes various areas in your home. She has worked with many people with Attention Deficit Disorder, working as a problem solver to conquer their specific needs.
