Understanding the ADD/ADHD Client

Clients with ADHD are in many ways no different from anyone else. However, the unique challenges of living with a brain that works differently sometimes interfere with living effectively.  Many common organizing strategies only serve to make things more difficult for those with ADHD.Author and personal coach Sarah Wright will share what the latest research tells us about ADHD, and give examples of successful strategies for those clients who may need to fidget in order to focus! Sarah D. Wright, M.S., A.C.T., is a professional personal coach, one of the few in the nation trained specifically to work with people affected by ADD.  She is the co-author of Fidget to Focus – Outwit Your Boredom:  Sensory Strategies for Living with ADD.  She lives near San Diego, CA where in addition to coaching, she is involved in ADD support groups, education and advocacy.
